Display Auto Detection using EDID on N2/C4/HC4

N2/C4/HC4 can parse EDID from your Monitor automatically, except for some special monitor, not VESA standards. To do this you can check your “.ini” file in the BOOT partition of your eMMC/SD card. Depending on your kernel version, the setting is a little different.

By default, the autodetection has been enabled.

Check your “config.ini” file in the BOOT partition. If you are using an old Ubuntu image so you don't have the “config.ini” file in the partition, check “boot.ini”.
In the case of Android check “env.ini” in the BOOT partition.

sudo vi /media/boot/config.ini
