  • The default CPU governor is “ondemand” in this image and you may feel the system is slow.
  • Some USB devices can cause the system crash.
  • In that case, change it to “perfromance” governor with following steps.
$ sudo apt-get install cpufrequtils
$ echo 'GOVERNOR="performance"' | sudo tee /etc/default/cpufrequtils
$ sudo update-rc.d ondemand disable
  • EXT2/4 file system can not be accessible on U-boot.
  • Using Chromium 48 for better stability
  • The root file system will be resized in the first booting process. OS will reboot automatically to complete the resizing process.
  • Kodi requires to be manually started for HDMI Passthrough work.
    AE_SINK=ALSA kodi
  • Tons of issues not listed. :-x
  • sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

This guide is only for the NATIVE BUILD.

$ git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/hardkernel/linux -b odroidc-3.10.y
$ cd linux
$ make odroidc_defconfig

$ sudo cp arch/arm/boot/uImage /media/boot
$ sudo cp arch/arm/boot/dts/meson8b_odroidc.dtb /media/boot
