We recommend powering the ODROID-N2/C4 with a good quality 12V/2A power adapter.
However, using a good quality 15V/4A power adapter is also OK if you already have one handy.
There is a bad luck case has reported by our forum, 5V Step-Down Converter(U25) on C4 has damaged when 15V/4A power supply plugged into C4 (☞ https://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=205&t=42112).
So we do Not recommend using the 15V/4A Power supply with C4.
Note that 15V/4V is not necessary for the N2, N2+ and C4, 12V/2A is plenty enough. On the other hand 15V/4A is required for the HC4 and the H2 series because these boards may power mechanical hard drives.

The purpose of EMI Gasket of between the heat sink and the MicroUSB connector is to prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI) or electrostatic discharge (ESD).
