To upgrade Android 4.4.4 to LineageOS 14.1, you have to update or install the latest version of Android 4.4.4.

This guide be applied to the LineageOS 14.1 Android and Android TV.

You can upgrade the android from 4.4.4 to 7.1.1 by using ODROID Updater.

Open the browser on your ODROID-XU4 and copy the latest LinageOS 14.1 update.zip file URL from the forum page.

Or Copy the URL on behind. Alpha-1.1_14.11.17 is tested version.

If you want to install the Android TV, Please Copy the Android TV's update.zip URL from here.

Open the ODROID Updater. and click “Get the latest version.” Button.
Click “continue” button. and change the URL from default Android update.zip URL to Linage 14.1 updatezip URL.

You ave to change the URL after click the “Get the latest version.” button.
If not, it download the latest Android 4.4.4.
Click the “Download” button to download the update image. It take a long time.
Click the “validate file” and “Extract” buttons.
Check the “Format userdata” and “Update uboot”.
Click the “Restart for update” button to upgrade the Android.
