ODROID Factory Test Mode for ODROID-GO Ultra
When you turn on board power while holding down the Trigger Left 1 and Trigger Right 1 buttons at the same time, you can enter ODROID Auto Test mode.
When the recovery splash-screen is displayed, you can release the button.
You will perform the following test modes in sequence.
- Battery & Charging Test
- LCD Test
- Backlight Test
- Buttons Test
- Analog Joysticks Test
- USB Host(A-type) Test
- Audio Test
- Test complete
To exit the currently running test mode and go to a next test mode, please use the following Test Exit Key Combination.
- OGU : F2 + F5 (Most left and Most right gray buttons)
And using long-press PWR KEY, you can power off the system.
1. Battery & Charging Test
The followings will be updated periodically on LCD display until you exit test mode using Test Exit Key Combinations.
Battery Connection
The following information is displayed according to the battery connection.
- BATTERY : Connected
- BATTERY : Disconnected
If the battery is disconnected, OGU can not turn on the LCD.
USB-C type Power Jack Connection
The following information is displayed according to the connection status of the USB-C type power jack.
- DC JACK : Connected
- DC JACK : Disconnected
Charging state
The following information is displayed according to the charging status.
- CHARGING STATE : DISCHARGING
- CHARGING STATE : CHARGING
- CHARGING STATE : FULL
Battery Voltage
This shows battery voltage value in V unit.
- e.g) BATTERY VOLTAGE : 3.7000 (V)
Charging Current
This shows charging current value in A unit.
If DC Jack is connected & charging is in progress, it's expressed as a POSITIVE value.
- e.g) CHARGING CURRENT : 0.7000 (A)
Or, if charging is not in progress, a NEGATIVE value (system current consumption) will be shows,
and it's normal operation.
- e.g) CHARGING CURRENT : -0.4200 (A)

When you enter this test mode, all buttons layout are shown in Gray color.
The button on LCD will be display in GREEN during you press a button, and then it will be changed to RED color.
5. Analog Joysticks Test
For the accuracy of analog joysticks test, calibration is run first.
By pressing a button, calibration will start in 2 seconds.
Please be careful NOT to control analog joysticks during calibration.
Calibration complete.
Press any button to start Analog joysticks test.
When you enter this test mode, you can check the real-time X/Y ADC values of all joysticks graphically.
6. USB Host Test
Displays the connection status to the USB Host.
When Device is connected, Product_String or USB_VID is displayed.
- USB STATE : DISCONNECT
- USB STATE : FLASH DRIVE
7. Audio Test
When entering Audio Test Mode, a simple beep is played continuously.
And the speaker/headphone output is switched according to the headphone status.
Displays the connection status to the HEADPHONE.
- HEADPHONE : Connected
- HEADPHONE : Disconnected
